The On Hair Show & Exhibition by Cosmoprof, scheduled from 17 to 18 November 2019, will take place at the Pala Alpitour in Turin. It will host an on-stage presentation by Russian hair trendsetter and founder of the Open Academy International, Dmitry Vinokurov, one of the Estetica Master Class protagonists.
Internationally renowned hairstylist, fashion designer, Global Top Artistof Wella Professionals and protagonist of the main events in Russia, Asia, Europe, America and Australia, Dmitry Vinokurov is undoubtedly one of the most creative talents in the hair industry today.
Official designer of the international film festival “Kinotavr”, Russian Fashion Week, the Teffi Television Award and the Sochi Olympics, he has been recognised as “Stylist of the Year” at the Ovation Awards and “Person of the Year” at the Gracia Awards.
His creative inspiration comes from everything that surrounds him, from art to architecture; cinema to music.
Founder and President of Open Academy International Vinokurov & Friends, Dmitry is the owner of the Dmitry Vinokurov Studio in Moscow, recognised as “The Best Salon in Moscow” at the national “Product of the Year” awards.
From the very start of his career, Dmitry dreamed of performing on-stage at the Alternative Hair Show. His dream became a reality when he stepped up as the first-ever Russian hairdresser to perform at the world-famous London event.
Founder of the charity Foundation for children with Leukaemia “We Are With You” in Russia, he is also President of Intercoiffure Mondial Russia. He participated in the development of the Magma and Color ID product ranges by Wella Professionals and in the project to develop the innovative “Freestyle Color” colouring techniques.
“As well as cut and colour, a good stylist should also understand the fundamentals of make-up,” says Dmitry Vinokurov. He also believes that an in-depth client consultation is vital, as a hair professional can never really know enough about their clients' true desires.
Dmitry Vinokurov will perform during On Hair Show & Exhibition by Cosmoprof. The show will also feature 3 other international master stylists: X-presion, Tiziana Di Marcelli with Trevor Sorbie Art Team and Errol Douglas.
