Bologna Fiere Cosmoprof will be the exclusive international agent of the 24th edition of the beauty event.
The collaboration between the two fair organisations, Bologna Fiere and the fair organisation in Teheran, has consolidated the relationship between Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna and Iran Beauty & Clean, the leading beauty event in the Gulf and the Middle East, with companies that range from mass market to luxury.
Bologna Fiere Cosmoprof will be the exclusive international agent of the 24th edition of Iran Beauty & Clean, to be held from 24th to the 27th April 2017, and will therefore deal with the sale of stands to international companies intent on taking advantage of new business opportunities not only on the Gulf and Middle East markets, but also in Africa and on the Indian sub-continent.
Make up, accessories, skin care, and packaging, but also a special area dedicated to Profumery, as well as the sectors like Hair Salon, Beauty Salon and Nails. Among the products most frequently sought out by local consumers are hair and skin care products, perfumes, cosmetics for eyes and make-up, nail polish and prestige products. To increase the international calling of the Iran Beauty &Clean event, 150 small and mid-sized local companies will be hosted by the 5 Country Pavilion. The growing number of national pavilions already registered includes Italy, Turkey, and South Korea.
The Iranian market
With more than 80 million inhabitants, 55% of which are under-30, Iran is a booming market, the second largest in the area after Saudi Arabia and the seventh worldwide. It is estimates that in 2017 the Iranian beauty sector will reach a value of 5 billion dollars. Local industry is also growing, seeking raw materials, packaging machinery, and filling.
The numbers of the last edition
An exhibition space of 26,000sq.m and 400 companies from 15 countries: the 2016 edition of Iran Beauty & Clean welcomed 18,000 visitors from 20 countries.
Last year Cosmoprof Worlwide Bologna attained record numbers, with more than 200,000 visitors, 2,510 exhibitors, 73% of which came from abroad, and 25 Country Pavilions.
