The one event no self-respecting Brit hair professional wants to miss. This is Salon International, scheduled for 18th-20th October this year at its now-traditional home ExCel in London.
Designed for every member of the profession, from the shampooist to the salon manager, the event gives peers the chance to get together and do some networking whilst seeing all the latest innovations and techniques currently around from some of the top names in the industry.
Last year’s edition gives some idea of what can be expected this year – 48,000 hairdressers descended on the ExCel Centre for three days of updating and mind-blasting, with spectacular shows and seminars from luminaries such as the Toni&Guy team, Saks Art Team, Vidal Sassoon, Patrick Cameron, Mahogany team and Lee Stafford team, as well as countless displays of the latest in equipment and services.
The real heavies of the industry also graced free stages – the Fellowship, Schwarzkopf Professional, Wella Professionals and BaByliss, to name but a few.
In conjunction with Salon itself, there was also the culmination of the Wella Professionals Trend Vision Award 07, an inspiring demonstration of skill and creativity by up-and-coming stylists.
