The first session of communication courses organised by Art Hair Studios (Wella Professionals partner) recently concluded at The Actor’s Academy in Milan (Edoardo Costa’s professional acting academy).
This educative initiative was warmly welcomed. Four appointments in two phases offered a programme designed to refine the communicative abilities of hairstylists via relaxation, concentration and diction techniques used by actors.
The response was very positive. “This course has helped me find the way to handle my client relationships more confidently”, explained Mario Morra, salon-owner of Art Hair Studios in Monterotondo (Rome).
“The course makes you face your fears”, added Ivo Talarico from Bolzano. “Thanks to breathing techniques that help you relax, you can pull out your true character, to positive effect”.
Fabrizio Roglieri from Alessandria wound up, “I was really impressed by the teachers’ professionalism. In contrast with other courses I’d been to, here experimentation immediately showed up strengths and weaknesses in our communicative styles.
At the end of the course, the participants were presented with a personal course-based work report. The aim – to carry out onstage the tips learnt throughout the practice sessions.
