More than 61 thousand visitors and more than 500 exhibitors filled the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York for the 2012 edition of IBS.
The fair is not open to the public, as it is reserved for beauty professionals aiming to keep abreast of the latest innovations in hair fashion, equipment, cosmetics, make-up, and outfitting.
Among the shows on the main stage programme for this year, between April 14-16, worthy of note are: Nick Arrojo, Michael O’Rourke, Martin Parsons, Lisa Yamasaki, Woody & Amy Michleb, and The Sassoon Academy Team. The Super Barber Cutting Competition is returning again – this time in its third edition on Sunday the 14th and Monday the 15th – with three categories: Fastest Barber on Earth; Design, Color & Cut; and Conservative Cuts.
