The collaboration between Messe Frankfurt and the German national hairdressers association.
Beginning in 2012, Hair and Beauty will take place as an independent fair on May 13-14 in Pavilion 11. This was a joint decision taken by Messe Frankfurt and the German national hairdressers association (ZV), partner and honorary owner of the event.
“The success of Hair and Beauty is growing again: more exhibitors, a bigger exhibition area, and more visitors. For this reason, we intend to provide Hair and Beauty with more room for its development with a view to transforming this fair with its enormous potential into an even stronger brand name,” explains Detlef Braun, member of the Messe Frankfurt board of directors. Having declared his approval of this renewed cooperation, Andreas Popp, ZV president declared: “Messe Frankfurt, with its Frankfurt offices, represents the perfect partner for us.
Our mutual objective is to work hard to gain a high level of professional training and quality in the hairdressing section.” With the new date in May, Messe Frankfurt especially fulfils the industry request for cosmetic products for hair. In fact, May is the sectors preferred date.
Pavilion 11, the new venue, is on two floors and is the most modern in the Frankfurt fair district, especially suitable to hose the numerous fashion shows and presentations Hair and Beauty is known for. Moreover, the fair will welcome guests at the Portalhaus erected in front of the entry.
