March kept the Farouk Systems Creative Team – or should we say jet-setters – on the go for two of the biggest events on any hair pro’s calendar: the International Beauty Show in New York March 6-8, 2011 and America’s Beauty Show in Chicago March 12-14, 2011.
At the IBS, Farouk Systems was one of the biggest to offer all around education with cutting, coloring and styling techniques, as well as introducing new formaldehyde-free CHI Enviro American Smoothing Treatment. But as well all know, being a hairdresser means much more than great products and talent, so that’s why Mickey Svircevic and Bradley Tuggle presented business-building tips, encouraging stylists to think out of the box, but not before having learned the rules for breaking the rules.
Then Anna Cantu, famous for her red-carpet updos, was joined on-stage by reigning Miss New York Amber Collins and Miss Teen USA 2010 Kamie Crawford for lessons on how to be gorgeous and glamorous.
For another kind of business savvy glamour, Apprentice styling team Joe Anthony Pena and Rocky McCormick were on hand to keep crowds entertained before moving on to the America’s Beauty Show in Chicago, where the ABS Main Stage was tread by the Global Artistic Board team Leonel Rodriguez and Rocky Vitelli, who coiffed models from their Exposed collection with runway inspired couture looks.
Global Artistic Board member George Cooper and artist Chaune Fitzgerald dazzled the ABS attendees with haute hairstyles and matching model costumes from Federico International.
Lisa Marie, Director of Farouk Systems Shows, is please with all the media hype about CHI Enviro American Smoothing, the upcoming The Celebrity Apprentice episode, pageant sponsorships and other great events Farouk Systems has planned. Seems like there’s no stopping this all-American dream team for this 25th anniversary year!
