Aveda has scooped a significant prize in the tough Korean market after picking up the ‘Ethics Award’ at the 2010 Marie Claire Prix d’Exellence de la Beaute. The ‘Ethics Award’ was established to recognize the beauty company practices and related activities in the industry exemplify the highest standards of business ethics and conduct.
Aveda Korea first won this prize in recognition of its leadership in corporate environmental sustainability and responsibility.
Events which lead to this success included the Earth Month campaigns such as Walk for Water; being first beauty company to receive Cradle to Cradle Certification; a Sustainable packaging & energy policy and an ethical sourcing policy and a rise in organic conversion.
