HairFashion… on the move!

Precise technique, innovative shapes. On 21st September, the James Hair Fashion Club workshop took place at the Wella Studio in Milan. More than 250 hairdressers of the franchising network founded by James Longagnani and Wella Professionals were present at the event.

Stars of the show? The cuts of the Autumn/Winter 2008-2009 collection “(H)air Shape”. To kick off, the artistic team (made up of Viviana Rossato, Filippo Gelichi, Michele Vaccari and Alessandra Spaggiari) took to the stage. And there were also Rosario Rizzo and Matteo Brevini, who further enhanced the cuts with a live colouring session.

Then it was James Longagnani’s turn. His performance showed how to get volume with glamour, thanks to a precise method. After the cut and styling (by Filippo Gelichi and Viviana Rossato), the stylist switched on some fans for a windswept effect, so finishing off the work with an unusual and up-to-date method.

“The fashion factor is becoming ever more important in our salon work” explained Longagnani. “During my show I wanted to avoid a static effect – on the contrary, I wanted shapes to immortalise”.

Closing the event was Francesca Sesler, who underlined the importance of a personal hairfashion. On the stage – semi-updos, teased at the shoulders, and long hair becoming elegant short hair with big side-sweeping sections. And a middle parting for  a ponytail, livened up by a slightly ruffled air.
