A beautiful collection both to look at and “wear”. This is “Redemption”, the latest offering from Kemon, an Autumn/Winter collection for men and women, presented to the top stylists at the end of August in San Giustino during the third international convention The Italian Touch.
The proposal for this season is all based on contrasts and volume games. Particolar inspirations – Bob Couture (a perfect bob), Soft Bubble (perfectly rounded curls) and Hippy (Woodstock-style).
Hot colours are coppers, warm blondes, browns. Cuts and shapes bow to the Seventies, to fast-living rockers, slightly softened by Bohemien tones.
The photo shoot location was also interesting. Amedeo Turello chose San Sepolcro in Umbria (Upper Tevere Valley), thus emphasising again the concepì of “Made in Italy”.
“Also here, we wanted to emphasise our links with our country”, said Aldo Nocentini. “Particularly as we approach 2009, the fiftieth anniversary of the birth of Kemon.”
Many hairdressers attended the collection launch event. The international team boasted hairdressers from ten different countries – Poland, France, USA, Hungary, Slovenia, Spain, UK, Belgium, Germany and Croatia.
Backstage at the event, the skilled hands of Angelo Labriola were hard at work. He commented, “In the new collection Kemon, women return to a state of freedom, yet still with attention to details. It’s still a woman who knows how to not take things too seriously. We propose a return to coppers and warm blondes. Also the ideas for men are interesting, they’ll help us win over an important market sector for our salon businesses.”
