On 20th July, the eighteenth National Contest for Young Stylists in Fashion (Riccione Moda Italia) concluded in grand style.
The initiative aims to help upcoming stylists into the world of work via workshops, conferences and fashion shows. But the contest is also an essential event for the students of fashion/design schools.
The Italian Chamber of Hairdressing was once again technical sponsor. Backstage, hairdressers and make-up artists of Studio CS salons of Bologna and I Casarotto of Vicenza were responsible for the models at the international evening “Fashion from the World”, as well as for the finals of the National Contest for Young Stylists in Fashion.
The President Antonio Marino expressed immense satisfaction for the quality of work on display and underlined the dedication to the industry of Italian professional hairdressing.
He said, “This is a system that cannot be neglected by politicians and government, a system that needs not general help but specific aid to protect the professionalism that is part of the excellence of Italian skilled work. This is why the Italian Chamber of Hairdressing will promote all connected initiatives and lower VAT on hairdressing services, as already happens in other European countries”.
