Community-minded fashion. On 14th May, the annual charity fashion show was held in the women’s wing of San Vittore prison.
The project was started by the Milanese local authorities and co-operative group Alice which works inside the prison. Creativity becomes a re-education method for the women prisoners, who this time presented three wedding dresses on the catwalk – a preview of the first “San Vittore Dressmaking” collection.
The models’ hairstyles were created by the young stylists of Art Hair Studios, led by Giusi Bassani (Wella Professionals partner). The outfits were complemented by natural looking hair, long and wavy, flowing loose over shoulders.
The big Italian fashion houses turned out in full force to help – from Alberta Ferretti to Lorenza Riva, from Anna Molinari-Blugirl to Prada, from Giorgio Armani to Krizia, amongst many others…
The audience included many names from the world of showbiz such as Beppe Convertini, Rocco Casalino, Raffaello Tonon and Jonathan Kashanian. The event was held in the courtyard of the female wing of San Vittore, and was presented by Barbara d’Urso.
Coming up, some photos of the event.
