Cosmoprof: Unipro Forum

Cosmetics industry norms are in constant evolution. Access to information in order to keep up to date therefore has become fundamental for industry professionals at all levels. For Cosmoprof, Unipro is promoting a conference on the subject: the date to keep is for Friday, April 11, starting at 9:30am at the Palazzo degli Affari of Bologna. Italian and foreign speakers will participate, representing institutions, associations and the beauty industry. The technical and legislative arguments will be analysed under different aspects, starting with future cosmetics product regulations. Unipro’s General Director Maurizio Crippa will do the introductions and will be followed by a presentation by Marcella Marletta, Luigi Gagliardi and Stefano Dorato on ‘The new proposal for the development and commercialization of cosmetics’. The mike will then go to Leonardo Celleno, Director of the Cosmetics Research Centre of the Cattolica University of Rome (‘Evaluation of the risks and cosmo-vigilance in the context of European regulations’), and L’Oréal physic Francis Quinn (Nanotechnology in cosmetics’). To wrap up, ‘Considering organic, natural and ecological raw materials’, by Marco Vassallo and ‘REACH: How the cosmetics industry responds to the new challenge’ by Manuela Coroama. The conclusion of the Forum is scheduled for 1pm.
