The Copperbox Stadium in London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was the venue for TONI&GUY's Mainstage, the much anticipated creative and awards evening that consolidates its much deserved Coolbrand status.
Mainstage is a platform which both label.m and TONI&GUY always utilise to present their creative Collections, however this year they were joijed for the first time by essensuals, which launched its own dedicated Collection.
In an exciting, exhilirating sequence of events, the crowd was also treated to awards presentation hosted by CEO, Chairman and OBE Toni Mascolo, TONI&GUY and label.m Global Creative Director Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck and TONI&GUY Global Brand Director James Tarbuck who handed out many well-deserved accolades which included Perfect Salon of the Year, TONI&GUY Academy Director, Outstanding Contribution Award and several others. On the entertainment front, ‘singer of the moment’ Jess Glynne brought down the house with number ones such as “Hold My Hand” and “Right Here”.
Saving the best campaign for last, the TONI&GUY team launched the new SOCIALIZED cuts and colours led by Global Creative Director Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck and long-time brand educator and ambassador Eamonn Boreham. Then it was back to LFW with Kevin Luchmun heading up the men’s presentation with models wearing Henry Holland’s debut men’s collection, followed by a Giles show with hair styled by International Artistic Director Maria Galati and co, complete with face jewellery to compliment the ornate hair look.
The final showcase was the creative work of Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year 2015 nominee Indira Schauwecker with her technical skills and vast experience displayed by seven models donning intricate hairstyles and wardrobe pieces. As the models took their places at the top of the catwalk a shimmering, silver installation parted to reveal an eighth model.
