The 19th Cosmoprof Asia event is over. This year, the Hong Kong fair hosted 2,362 exhibitors from 42 different countries.
An exhibition area of 81,500 square metres, 22 national pavilions, and over 60,000 visitors from all over the world. Innovations for 2014 included Spot On Beauty, a 3,700 square metre area hosting 150 international brands in the beauty, spa&wellness, cosmetics and personal care industries, as well as the national pavilions; Boutique, the first sampling bar to be found at an Asian beauty fair – this charitable initiative donated the profits from the sale of Boutique sets to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation for research and treatment purposes; and Prestige Avenue, a space dedicated to niche companies, with high quality products and a targeted sector distribution area.
Cosmetica Italia was also at this year’s event. “Participating in this exclusive event is yet further proof of the support given by our Association to the entire sector in promoting “Made in Italy” goods,” said Fabio Rossello, president of Cosmetica Italia. “Italian companies stand out in international markets for the high quality standards of their products”.
