Cosmoprof Asia announces Spot On Beauty and Boutique for its next edition.
Work is underway to prepare the upcoming edition of Cosmoprof Asia, the event dedicated to the beauty industry in the Asia-Pacific region. “Cosmoprof Asia is a global forum and networking platform,” affirms Duccio Campagnoli, President of the Gruppo BolognaFiere and Cosmoprof Asia. “It’s significant growth over the years confirms its influence as a leader in the beauty sector.” And for the new edition, which will be held in Hong Kong from November 12-14, 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, there should be two innovations.
Spot on beauty
All the most innovative products developed for cosmetic, hair, spa and wellness, nail, and personal hygiene professionals combined in one area. Located in the Convention hall on the first level of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, Spot On Beauty can be reached easily from the main entrance on Harbour Road. The new exhibition area will unveil innovative products and host more than 150 brand names in 1200 square metres. “This exclusive zone offers exhibitors the opportunity to sponsor their latest launches with the most influential buyers and regional distributors,” comments Michael Duck, Executive Vice President of UBM Asia.
Spot On Beauty will be completed by Boutique, a luxury shop where visitor can find and buy travel-size samples by selected exhibitors. All the company participating are invited to select a mix of samples that will be distributed in a personalised gift box. The proceeds will be donated to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation. The 2013 edition of the fair recorded significant figures: 2,168 exhibitors from 43 countries and regions (10 % more compared to 2012); 76,200 sq.m of exhibition space; 60,985 visitors (up 10 % over 2012) from 125 countries and regions, of which 37,575 from abroad and 345 trade journalists.
Visitors who register before 17 October 2014 will be granted free admission to the fair.
