The Wella Salon closed its doors on 23 February on the last day of the Olympics.
There was a constant buzz at the Sochi Winter Olympic Games and in the space signed Wella and hosted inside the P&G Family Home. Wella hairdressers from Russia, the United States, Italy, and Nordic nations continued dedicating their time to the looks and beauty of the hair of mother and athletes from all over the world.
The last “beauty team” to take over the Wella salon was that of Norway and Finland: Katrine Helland, Morten Eiknes, Tuula Jääskeläinen, Pilvi Backman. They were the creators of some wonderful makeovers. With combs, scissors, and brush, they changed the looks of the Italian Valentina Marchei, of Katrine Helland (mother of United states ice hockey stars Jocelyne and Monique), of the Austrian athlete Gregor Schlierenzauer, specialists in ski jumping, and of Daniel Wende, German skater who oozes undeniable sex appeal.
At this point the curtain came down on the 2014 edition of the Sochi Olympics with the closing ceremony. Now all there is to do is mark our calendars for the next edition of the Olympics to experience even more magical – and beautiful – moments together.
