The Grosvenor House, in the London Myfair, hosted the celebrations for the British Hairdressing Awards, that this year saw Angelo Seminara nominated British Hairdresser of the Year 2012.
The Italian-English stylist is the new star in the firmament of hairstylists to receive this prestigious award, and follows such names as Trevor Sorbie, Anthony Mascolo, Irvine and Rita Rusk, John Frieda, Andrew Collinge, Nicky Clarke, Charles Worthington, Umberto Giannini, Beverly C, Mark Hill, Antoinette Beenders, Lisa Shepherd, Andrew Barton and Akin Konizi.
“I couldn’t believe my ears when they called my name,” says Seminara, “winning this award is a dream come true”.
