The Innovation Gallery at Salon Look 2012 selected Estetica as a winning exemplary brand this year.
The contest is sponsored by the Spanish trade fair to promote innovation in the hair and beauty industries, spreading the word about the most interesting technological developments in the field.
Estetica Magazine iPad Edition was deemed deserving of this award on the basis of its significant value in terms of progress and content. This is the first iPad app created specifically for a trade magazine – it’s an app that allows readers not only to “flick” through the pages of the various worldwide Estetica issues but also to access additional multi-media content in the form of photo galleries, videos and links to other websites of possible interest. This is an app that invests in new technology and places Estetica in pole position ahead of the industry’s other top publications.
Luca Pissimiglia, digital director of Estetica Network, was at the event to pick up the award. He said, “It’s a recognition of our Network’s hard work and mission in the huge multimedia sector. We are much more than a magazine – the 21st century Estetica involves an all-round 360º service of communication with hairdressers – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week”.
26 editions in all 5 continents, apps for iPhone and iPad, portals and websites in all the main worldwide markets, constantly updated presence on social networks- Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube and Google+, as well as industry-targeted newsletters. This is all offered to thousands of hairdressers all over the world.
