Growth of international visitor attendance and Awards in Porto Rico.
The 2011 San Juan Beauty Show was an unprecedented success, as the increase in international participation and recognition of the avant-garde celebration with cash awards and upbeat rhythms of rock Calypso and Flamenco music accompanying the Latin American Awards and Red Carpet events.
This spectacular event concluded with grand finale fireworks. Roberto Paniagua Planell, President of the Convention was enthusiastic about the outcome, “We intended to make a break with past formats of beauty show. Today it is necessary to captivate the audience, granting visitors moments of both education and entertainment. This is a great innovation in Beauty Shows.”
