Just the right ethnic note, emerging from pure white. A combination of design ideas and natural elements is at the base of this German salon by Lothar Metz in Heilbronn, La Biosthetique Flagship, created in collaboration with architects Franz-Josef Mattes and Stefan Takanori Sekiguchi.
A warm simplicity, where every detail makes a difference – discreet artificial lighting, natural light in the right places, wide spaces reflected in large wall mirrors. For added atmosphere, dark wood is dotted around this milky-white salon, with washunits and workstations standing out like tropical islands. Finally a relaxation area is always more comfortable when sofas are made of fabric and there’s a zebra-print rug sweeping us up in dreams of Africa.
