World of Beauty and Spa 2010

Prague, 3-4 September 2010

The O2 Arena, with its exclusive positioning, access, high visitor rating, and widespread network of advance sale agencies, promises to be an extraordinary venue that will allow the World of Beauty and Spa trade fair to focus even more intensively on more than 350 exhibiting brands presenting the latest trends in cosmetics, beauty, and face and body sculpturing, plus plenty of new programmes to keep visitors busy throughout.

Riding the crest of holistic approaches to beauty and wellness, even more emphasis will be placed on spa treatments, with offers of courses, updates, and samples on various massage techniques, aromatherapy, and other relaxation methods, as well as courses in alternative medicine, acupressure, Chinese medicine, homeopathy, iris diagnostics, and Chakra therapy.

There will also be exciting competitions to look forward to, including the Czech Championship in Make-Up organised by the Union of Cosmeticians, and Pavel Bauer. Patricie Herrera will follow up with a beautiful hands and feet competition, Jaroslav Fešar from CPS will also organise “Podiatric Day”, and the PROKOS Union will collaborate on the BEAUTY EXPO & PROKOS PRODUCTS AWARD.

Saturday will see the traditional Czech Championship and International Championship in Nail Design in both gel and acrylic categories, the winners of which will move on to compete in Düsseldorf.

Then there will be the first-ever premier of the hairdressing competition entitled INSPIRATION 2010 competition. On September 3, 2010, the finalists will be presented with a 1-year subscription to Estetica World Classic, including 4 issues of Estetica World magazine plus one Studio Collection Colour & Technique album. Obviously there will be no shortage of live shows, this year featuring stars of the spring show Blanka Hašková, Jan Hlaváček and Martin Loužecký competing for the grand prize of 100,000 Czech Crowns.
