One of the most fun and glamorous events held in Las Vegas during Cosmoprof days was the 2009 Spirit of Life dinner, honouring Pureology founders, Cheryl and Jim Markham, for their ongoing efforts to raise funds and awareness for ovarian cancer research.
Before mistress of ceremonies Debi Mazar took over the stage leading to the award acceptance, the masquerade ball themed evening on July 20th started with a silent auction on the premium masks designed by salon industry fabulous stylists like Damien Carney, Kim Vo, Sam Villa and Scott Cole.
Thanks to over 500 attendees – including City of Hope and professional salon supporters and world-renown stylists – the Spirit of Life gala raised over $1 million for research, education and treatment for cancer and other life-threatening diseases at City of Hope.
